4. Hold the top edge of your iPhone directly against your Goodz for several seconds (see below).
5. Open the notification that appears to be taken to your content.

* If you cannot find the NFC icon in your control center, you may need to manually add that icon to your phone. The section of this article titled "How to enable NFC tag reader on iPhone" offers guidance on how to go about doing this.

Android phones:
Where is my NFC reader?

On Android phones, the NFC reader is usually located in the middle or upper back of the phone.

Android phones:
How do I tap my Goodz?

1) Ensure that NFC is enabled in settings.
2) Grab your Goodz. Wake and unlock your Android.
3) Hold your Goodz against the middle back* of your phone for several seconds.
4) Open the notification that appears, or follow the instructions on webpage that loads to access your content.

* While the NFC reader for most Android phones is usually found in the middle or upper back of the device, because of the variation between manufacturers, in some cases it can be found in other locations. If you are getting no response from holding your Goodz against the middle back of your phone, try slowly sliding it across the entire back, bottom, and top edges of your device until you find your reader and a notification appears.

My phone is having trouble detecting my Goodz. What should I do?

1) Ensure that you have held your Goodz against your phone's reader for several seconds.
2) On both iOS and Android phones, the camera app can sometimes interfere with NFC reading. Close your camera app and attempt tapping your Goodz again.
3) Confirm that your phone is adequately charged, as the NFC chip in your Goodz relies on power from your phone to establish a connection. Charge your device and try again.
4) Verify that your phone is up to date and running the latest operating system available.
5) Try restarting your phone and tapping again.
